Plus tard on m'a parlé de Wandrer (https://wandrer.earth/), un jeu qui consiste à parcourir tous les chemins, rues et routes. La carte est divisée par région, communes, quartiers et on essaye de découvrir les rues improbables dans lesquelles on ne passe jamais. (3/7)

I am pretty sure all of you are well aware of the venerable "sudo" tool that is a key component of most Linux distributions since a long time. You might be aware of systemd's per-service setting "ProtectSystem=". When used it ensures the service lives in its own mount namespace, detached from the host's and various key directories become read-only to the service, in particular /usr/. This reflects the fact there's very little code that should ever be able to to write to /usr/.

There is no such thing as a low-energy rich country. Below chart, showing energy use by GDP/capita (GDP in purchasing power parity), shows that for society to flourish, we need a lot of energy. I contend that it doesn't matter whether we're talking about capitalism or communism in this case as both societies use energy differently, but still abundantly when they can.

The point then is how to scale up clean energy so that we all can live a good live. As below graph shows, energy consumption has exploded globally over the past century and we need to assume a doubling at the very least up to 2100, when we reach 10 billion people. If we then all live on the current Dutch energy consumption, that's actually a 250% increase towards 580,000 TWh.
