The teacher could tell I knew the steps and could theoretically do them faster, tried to get me to do one double time but by that point my legs were like absolutely not. Then she apparently ends every class with “cardio” aka 3.5 minutes of time steps 😆☠️
Current project, this is my first attempt at cables and my first attempt at a sweater, so it’s an adventure all around. I finished the first full repetition of the pattern and I think it’s going well so far! There’s a couple of mistakes in there but they’re minor enough to live with. I’m paranoid that I’m going to finish the sweater and it won’t fit, though 😅
Finished the first side! Now I have to make another just like it, the front and back are identical. It’s a little looser at the top than the bottom, but close enough probably. I didn’t bother tucking the loose yarn in on the backside as much as in my test piece, I think they’re short enough not to snag.
When you accidentally do a gesture that your computer interprets as showing all your desktops or merge windows or something and now your whole world is upside down and backwards and there's no obvious way to fix it.
Corporate IT sent out messages a couple of days ago to a bunch of people on my team that their macOS version was out of date and they needed to update, and now like half my team can’t get online anymore, and this is why people don’t update their software.
I was clearing out old browser tabs on my work computer and found so many things with 3+ copies open, one notably with at least 7, and it is possible I need a browser tab intervention
Sometimes I search for things on Google and am baffled by what it thought was helpful, and sometimes I search for documentation on Rust's std::test module and I'm just like "well. I just walked right into that one".
@mcc my favorite example of this is searching for how to mark up the html for an accordion component with ARIA and getting a bunch of videos of people playing arias on accordions
