Most designs I see for home automation apps are pretty but absolutely not convenient to use. It should be super quick to do an action, otherwise it’s better to just do it physically.

@ljouanneau @swallez It’s not just lights. It’s how you expose the data you need in a UI. If you need 3-5 taps to reach your data, it’s too long. 1 tap + 1 scroll, that should be that fast.

• Reading from memory: from 110 MiB/s to 1.6 GiB/s
• Raw disk: from 22 to 600 MiB/s
• RedoxFS: from 6 to 170 MiB/s

That’s impressive!

Reminder: Redox is a novel OS written in Rust.
