iOS Share sheet (and probably Mac, too, I just don't use it as much there) needs some big improvements.

Quit updating the popover layout after a few seconds! If I had a nickel for each time I try to tap something that moves just before my finger touches the screen, I could probably buy a new iPad Pro.

@bynkii For some gear, I've been able to buy replacement AC cables with French plugs. It's tidier than adapters. For Macs, Apple has their intl adapter kit and it's a pretty good price. I'll probably pick one up for my kiddo who'll be over there for school in the fall.

I have such highly developed ad blindness that the Crush ad didn't even register with me. It took me awhile to understand what the complaints were about.

I wonder if it would have gone over better if instead of showing things being destroyed, they showed the objects fusing together. Kind of like how we think of a diamond being created.

    Let’s say you have an app or a website and allow folks to order from it. Do you support Apple Pay and/or Google Pay? Why not?

    It’s so frictionless as a user of an iOS or Android device to use these payment methods.

    Maybe those should be opened up to third party payment systems like Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, PayPal, [insert your favorite payment method here]?

    Interesting. Because in terms of work communications, the things listed as “good” about slack make it incredibly difficult for my ADHD to deal with.

    A firehose of random shit for everything makes it harder to have in-depth convos about technical shit. I love cats, but when I’m trying to deal with a deployment package that won’t, the constant flow of unrelated shit in slack makes me shut it off and start calling people.

    @bynkii @vasta We have some teams who post tons of automated crap in their main slack channel. All day long there's new posts in there, but it's for builds and github PRs and failed tests, etc. But I have to be in that channel in case something comes up that I need to help with. It's fucking maddening.

    @fahrni My wife has a 7 for work and it's really nice. I'd consider one if I needed a Windows portable, but I'd probably pick a Framework instead for its serviceability.

    @KingShawn Huh. We had something similar as portable emergency breathing equipment on US navy ships (including subs, like I was on). After pulling the start string, you tap it on your mask to confirm the pin came out to start the reaction. There would also be a bit of smoke in the mask at first.The canisters get ridiculously hot and have to be ejected (really just dropped) from the rig because they couldn't be safely handled for awhile.

    Lazy: Does there exist an iOS entitlement that lets apps programmatically control VoiceOver? We want to allow buyers in the Square checkout flow to enable VoiceOver without having to go to Settings.app.

    @kyleve Would something like the home/wake button shortcut (Settings > Accessibility > Accessibility Shortcut) work for on demand switching? Still needs to be setup per device, but once it’s done, it would always be available. I use the shortcut on my test devices and find it very handy.
