New feature in #Logitech Options+ (the “mouse driver” that had ChatGPT glommed onto it) - there’s now a setting to turn the AI prompt builder off, and it no longer starts when Options+ opens.
I couldn’t find an email address at which I could complain about this, but hopefully a message got through to them.
Nie potrzebuje ktoś przypadkiem mało używanej klawiatury #Logitech#MXKeys? To najlepsza klawiatura jaka kiedykolwiek miałem i prawdopodobnie będę miał, ale u mnie leży i się kurzy, bo od urodzenia dziecka straciłem moje stanowisko komputerowe 😅
Am I the only one who hates the giant escape key on newer Macbook Pro? It pushes all the function keys to the right, and it really throws off my muscle memory! Also Logitech thinks it's a great idea on MX Keys S. I just got older Logitech MX Mini for this reason. :( #apple#logitech#keyboard
Spotted a running process called "Logi AI Prompt Builder" and have now discovered that my mouse driver auto updated to add a bullshit #AI feature. 😡 #Logitech
Needless to say really, but I tried lodging a complaint with Logitech about their forced installation of an “AI” prompt builder into their driver software. Seems like there’s no easy way to email them. #Logitech
The software for my favourite mouse, Logitech MX Master 3S for Mac, has been updated, and now it is also an AI prompt builder! It creates the ai_overlay_tmp folder in my home directory, and there is no easy way to disable that!
This morning, Logitech announced their new webcam that has a Micro Four Thirds lens mount (the Mevo Core). I was really excited about this until I saw the page on Amazon mention that it is rechargeable (without listing any other specific details about the battery).
It turns out that it has a sealed in battery that isn't removable/replaceable. So once the battery stops holding a charge after a couple of years, the entire device will become e-waste. So disappointing.
In case you are wondering why, your drag and drop is a bit sketchy, while using a Logitech G502 mouse.
It's probably the button sensor. You can replace it if you like to solder, or just buy a new mouse.
I obviously first blamed Linux.
I really like the low-profile design, the base is really solid, no connection issues, everything works as expected.
The only real problem with this thing is the keycaps. I just broke one by accidentally popping it off. They have these flimsy plastic clips that keep them in the place, and I just knew one would break sooner or later.
Also the black coating has started to wear off on common keys.
Cos niepokojacego dzieje sie z moja #myszka z #Logitech.a, na poczatku aku spokojnie trzymal ze dwa tygodnie, a teraz mam wrazenie, ze musze ja co chwila podpinac... :/
Post your daily driver keeb. Doesn’t have to be mechanical. Here’s mine (minus the artisans, they’re just window-dressing whenever I take it to meetups). #Mechanicalkeyboards#mechanicalkeyboard#mechkeys
Je dois me rendre á l'évidence mon clavier est bogué.
j'ai 1 keycode et keysym pour deux touches.
Ça me prend by le choux cette histoire
CTRL et Home partage les mêmes keycode/keysym
Si une personne dans l'aimable assistance aurait des idées pour modifier l'une des touches.
so if your #Logitech M570 #trackball, praise be upon it, starts having issues with not recognizing your clicks or double-clicking when you don't mean to,
this is the microswitch you should replace under the button.
A few bucks apiece, but if you have half a dozen of these trackballs lying around your house because your whole family uses them, $2 to renew the trackball is much better than $35 for a new one.
Bazzite started as a SteamOS alternative to the Steam Deck. Cool. Expanding Bazzite to other handhelds? Makes sense. Making it available for general PC usage? Also good.
How about making a Bazzite VM and then streaming that content to a Logitech G Cloud?
Received this Logitech Cordless Action Controller for the PS2 in the mail today.
I’d been going back and forth on whether or not I needed this, but lots of people say this is pretty much the best wireless PS2 controller out there, so I caved.
I’ve been trying it out, and so far it definitely feels like a nice controller, good build quality and fits the hand better than a DualShock. It’s a little smaller than I expected but definitely not uncomfortable. The d-pad also feels a little more like defined buttons than a regular DualShock, which I’m not sure how I feel about yet.
