@DemocracySpot When I was shooting this, a raccoon ambled up to me, nonchalant, like he was whistling some Tin Pan Alley tune. Then saw me at 15 yds away. Stopped on a dime. Paused. Walked straight backward 10 paces before exiting stage left. I can't tell you the number of blurry opossum and racoon shots I have from nighttime excursions.
I wonder if these old ads about the sexiness of garbage disposals would be too much for our modern Indiana leaders, such as Mike Pence.
Thanking a man three times a day for a garbage disposal seems like it isn't keeping reproductive activities just for producing children to serve the glory of the lord and the army.
I was standing at Van Buren and Clark, realizing I'd never noticed what a time warp that block looks like (the ancient signage) when this perfectly dressed man walked out of, say, 1978 and into the frame to add the cherry on top.
@DemocracySpot Kind of? They're intensely bright, so sometimes they get blown out. And they move fast, so it can be hard to capture the detail. Yours is well balanced and looks perfectly frozen in time with a lot of detail.
Lately I’ve been out a lot taking pictures between 9pm and midnight. My wife (mostly?) lovingly refers to it as “my affair”, given the time of day and frequency.
