The is fascinating how many things are for the “female gaze”. The dancers are fully clothed. The halftime show is a BUFF male gymnast with a PUPPY as part of his act. Lol.

Wow, our 10-game package seats are ... kinda high up, lol. looks like Nneka Ogwumike is starting, and so is CC. Pretty amazing! Sold out arena. But not a ton of people here yet, which is weird since the game starts in 29 minutes.

Major pet peeve: Labyrinths ARE NOT mazes. They are different things. One has a non-branching path that leads to the center. The other does not.

Kills me that Discovery got this wrong in the otherwise amazing space library episode.

Today I found out that both of my applications to test a pattern were accepted... after many times applying for things and not being accepted...

So I guess all my other WIP will be on hold and until June 20th I will be knitting both a pair of colourwork unicorn mittens and a cardigan... See images.

Doable, right? Maybe I should book a holiday from my two little kids and my work... haha.

Is there a word for "creator owned" co-ops where the ownership isn't held by employees, but isn't held by the consumer either? IE. what is social.coop? Does platform co-op cover it, or is there something more specific in wide use already?

I guess creator co-op is fine, I just don't know if it's actually in wide spread use.

Back at the with organization colors, while I’m waiting for my bigger rigid heddle loom to be sorted out. I got new yarn that more closely matches the actual colors of the org now (although they aren’t coming through here) which is nice. But mostly it’s just nice to be weaving again. Fingers were getting antsy - this is my “productive fidget”.

Next Month Daniel and I are going to a friend's birthday party with a bunch of bi and poly friends who embrace the "queer" label. The theme is "flagging your colors" and the hanky code was specifically mentioned in the invitation among other pride flags, etc.

Random update that none of y’all asked for: Goat Union Overnight Period Panties are awesome enough that I now own three pairs. A+ very much recommend as comfortable during my more clothing sensitive times, pretty decently affordable, and zero leaks. Only annoyance is supposedly they shouldn’t be dryer-dried (though the Wirecutter reviewer claimed they did ok, I think). So a bit slow to wash/reuse within one cycle.

Unless your cycle goes on forever like in perimenopause… 🙄

"Subpost" doesn't sound quite right. But I guess that's it?

@purplepadma Not really. For a while I tried taking fish oil in a variety of forms because it was “good for me”, and eventually gave up because it was just yucky. (I guess that doesn’t quite count as “food”.)

I do eat more fish now (which I like) than I did then.
