a person yesterday asked me, as i put my coffee on top of my (lid closed) laptop "are you not afraid that it'll break?".

sure, i do value my stuff and hope that my stuff lasts for long - but at the same time my stuff = a tool for me. if this laptop (Lenovo "ThinkPad" x240) couldn't last my use (throwing into a laptop without padding, being hurdled around, you know - setting coffees on top of it) - i don't think i'd still have it.

and the same goes for my phone, it too, has to last.

@siina yeah I use a lot of distros on a lot of machines, sometimes for no real good reason other than because I felt like testing something... sometimes because I need something that will just keep on chuggin (armbian / debian :D).

arch on the desktop because PERFORMANCE
and also updated libraries :D

the new miyoo cfw update is AWESOME
there are now so many packages bundled by default!!

A video of me showing the console and my laptop being connected with a USB cable. On the laptop there is an eSpeak command that says "who and why did someone ship eSpeak with the Meo CFW. This is fucking awesome. There's Python 3.10 too??"

lol, I just purchased an old game which has been released on Steam for the first time, which I know hasn't worked for some time due to a limit around not supporting multi core CPUs - I wanted to see how they got around it since the studio is closed.

How the publisher got around it - they use a cracked version of the game which has a fix added on, lol. I might write this up.
