@bastianallgeier Balanced post, thank you. As someone who likes and uses TW daily I can totally relate to the negative aspects, too.

I’m curious about your own set of utilities you mention: how did you decide about the scale they cover, and where do you draw the line what they should be used for? When working in non-TW projects I miss flex, margin and padding utils the most. Just having these could probably go a long way.

IMHO that's borderline animal abuse. Being vegan is fine but dogs are carnivores.

Edit/correction: Dogs are not pure carnivores, on the scale between carnivores and omnivores they sit in the middle. I stand by my opinion, however.

@czottmann Dogs are omnivorers and, while there's still more research needed, more and more signs signal that in fact it is possible to feed dogs a plant-based diet and keep them healthy.

@czottmann @Cyrus I'm no expert and didn't mean to be a smartass. I recently stumbled across more and more (seemingly) reputable articles on the topic and honestly thought it might be interesting. I find it harsh to talk "borderline animal abuse", when you don't know if the specific product might be fed in addition to meat, or lacking nutrients are being supplemented.

Aside: I don't have pets and I find it absurd to have other animals killed just to feed the ones we chose to love.

@czottmann @Cyrus Agreed. Yet highly processed food is by no means something exclusive to vegan dishes, and neither does a vegan diet (for humans) rely on such junk. I'm not even living fully vegan myself btw, but I find it worth striving for and sometimes feel a bit disturbed about the double standard being applied when comparing to a standard omnivore diet.
