Pondering some form of e-Ink and am looking for recommendations. Ideal featureset:

Screen: ~7" - don't like holding a 10" iPad, and an expired 6" ereader seems a fraction small.
PPI: >~300
Wifi
Ability to sync to/from CalibreWeb

I'd rather not pay Amazon for their products so that probably excludes the Kindles unless they are outstandingly worth it. Thoughts?

Sadly it looks like is going to die a slow unmaintained death now, and I need to pick a successor to run.

and/or appear to be the spiritual successors, but I think I'll be waiting to see who publishes and maintains a public Docker image first.

@organicmaps hi. I love your android app, but no matter what I do (including wiping all data and completely reinstalling) the maps don't update with recent edits. Have checked against OSM. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

My latest data ( Menu -> Settings -> Help ) is 05/01/2024

@ScaredyCat I vaguely recall a similar effort from the 00s. Something like CBCN, Comm Badge Communication Network. No idea where it went though. Always love this idea

@M4rkF @selfhosted I have both and installed as part of my Docker stack, automatically populated by docker labels too.

That being said, 99% of the time I still just go by browser recent URL
