Austronesian directions are trippy, producing the same words for different things.
"Timur/timog" means east in Malay, but in my language, Tagalog, it means south. In others, it means wind or rain. Turns out, they all have roots meaning southeast monsoon. It checks out because here at the north, those winds appear from the south while at the south, they would appear from the east.
What's weird is in Masbate, it means north. Wonder what happened there?

Before this, I encountered "laud/laut/lor" which means north in Javanese, but west in Ilocano. Geographically, they would point at South China Sea, which checks out because other in other languages, it means sea.

I feel like this could be formed as a lateral puzzle.

    Shopee's return service actually sucks? I have yet to contact the seller but I can't use the dedicated service if it's outside the Shopee Gurantee Period which ends after you receive the item as if defect never show themselves (in my case, my wireless mouse stopped functioning after a couple of weeks of light use)

    @Chickengod @pinoy I don't use Shoppee regularly and actually bought through my sister's account so I was suprised how the userbase just accepts this. So weird.

    @Chickengod @pinoy Thanks for the recomendations though that's way too over my budget. I did have great experience with Logitech though, my last one was their cheaper model that lasted ages (reference: it still bears their older logo). Gone through countless abuse and only recently broke the receiver from my fault.
    Just needed some quick replacement so I bought whatever's cheap but a less than a month is not acceptable.

    @hq1 Yes, DDG's original search syntax doesn't work anymore and they never announced it or something, just hid the original help page from plain site. I got used to !bangs so it's hard to leave but their public relations kinda sucks.
