    we all grieve differently for example when we had to plan my dad's funeral the director of the place asked "any poetry he loved?" but look he was an old british curmudgeon whose fav words were "bloody hell" so I started choke-laughing & my sister punched me HARD & the funeral guy didn't even bat an eye

    @ElleGray not more than an hour after my dad passed we were laughing and eating while waiting for his transfer. We were happy he was at peace already.

    Siblings and I tried to outdo ourselves from picking his suit and the urn for cremation, to the program for the service. When the cremation was done I went inside to check. My mom had to ask "How's everything?"

    Just had to say "He said the process was hot, but otherwise he's fine and chilling."

    I don't know much about the beatles and was once mocked for saying george was my favorite but this story of how they each reacted to a fire on their plane has vindicated me entirely 😄
