A little hobby hacking progress. I've been working on integrating a 3rd party lib for collision detection (I had rolled my own).

I've got the new 3rd party colliders and a "shape caster" setup now, and reporting contacts (you can see the little arrows on the player as it moves around).

I'm also adding and removing a "Grounded" component when the shape caster reports -Y contact.

I'm still not using this information to influence movement - that's all still happening with my hand-rolled stuff.

I'll be happy if I can carve out a little more time for this before the weekend arrives. Next step will be to use the new stuff to prevent movement through the walls and floor. If it works, that'll unlock another level of refactoring around input handling.

@mcc yeah, this could be good. Of particular interest to me was the mention during the pre-roll about indigenous filmmakers or something. I don't know the production story yet, but I'll be interested to see if this shows up in the story.

The setting is the Canadian Rockies.
