Ah, at Saturday night. Horror on the Orient Express is the most thrilling campaign since few years of gaming!

It’s 2006, you just woke up. Beautiful cold Sunday morning, no school, just toasts for breakfast, glass of coke and TES IV Oblivion.

What I wanted to say is simple - try to find your inner peace. I know the struggle, is very hard and you need to focus. I needed to literally read day after day the same quotes from the same book - Marcus Aurelius’ Meditations, before I finally found my inner strength to survive very complex job interviews and finally convince CEO that I am actually worth that money. But right now I know that I can manage next year without this fucking toxic environment as I have right now, hopefully I will be able to sleep, relax, don’t think too much about their issues and their chaos. I cut also bad people off from my life. It took time. But it’s worth it. I strongly recommend to actually sit down, rethink all your plans for next months and ask yourself some questions - how can I do it? How many steps it takes to get there? Etc. Pray to gods. Don’t be such a useless victim. Ask gods and entities for help. They will help. They will provide you all the tools needed. Just don’t miss their signs.

And read Meditations. And Master Therion’s Book of Law. Every day before sleep.

perperikon,

@Julian_Invictus I think gods just provide you some tools. There is never deus ex machina. But you are able to focus, therefore to read the signs, know more how to react. You have no power against external forces, but you have control how to react, how to respond to them.

When I feel overwhelmed, just go back to this book: Marcus Aurelius ‘Meditations’.

A few things I have found incredibly rejuvenating which bring joy to my life:

  1. A healthy diet, mostly whole foods.

  2. Walking, at least 5 times per week for at least 5000 steps. Either while playing Pokemon GO or listening to something interesting about spiritual topics.

  3. Daily Duolingo. Sometimes twice daily. Just sharpening the mind.

  4. Reading the Bhagavad Gita, or some other spiritual-focused text.

  5. Pokemon every day, in some form - console games, mobile games, card game, anime, manga, making up Pokemon lineups, working on my fan fic dedicated to my brother, etc.

  6. Intentional Family Time, whether it's watching tv or a movie, reading Calvin & Hobbes comics aloud, going to the Pool together, etc.

  7. Journaling and Meditation. Trying to figure out this Prayer thing again, too.

Facebook z dość fajnego portalu szybko mi obrzydził korzystanie z Social mediów, a Twitter z którego korzystałam codziennie musiał zostać skasowany bo zamienił się w jeden wielki toksyczny ściek. Trzeba się bronić.

perperikon,

Dlatego wolałabym wrócić do telefonu bez internetu.

perperikon,

@madargon @wojciech u mnie działa odwrócona inżynieria. Smartfony miały zastąpić wszystko więc ja zaczęłam kupować i otaczać się znowu rzeczami których przestałam używać. Zegarek ze stoperem i alarmem. Aparat fotograficzny. Notes i długopis. Kalendarz-terminarz. Działa to doskonale.

My three years old girl has been taught last time that she needs to ask for permission. It is really important to get the permission from local entities- trees, river, animals. This is their place, remember. Be respectful, because you are guest at their territory.
I think she understood. Hugged big tree trunk and asked if she could stay here with us and hang around.

So we’re going to Targoviste, former capital of Wallachian Country. This is the place Dracula came from, so we will need to check his castle and royal court. Of course I have Bram Stoker’s Dracula and Machen’ Three Impostors. #romania #trip #dracula #horror #bookstodon

perperikon,

We figured out that we came to Targoviste in the best possible time - celebration of establishing the city. Big park full of tourists, food, Chinese bootleg toys (with very ill Pokémons, the ones who needs severe treatment) and great history day with prices Dracula and Brancoveanu. Ruins of Royal Palace were great. And my sexy girl bought me a bracelet. Also, I could drink one small beer, which is a great success.

perperikon,

Last day. Yesterday we had a very fucking good food on San Marco’s Restaurant. I had 1000 kg meat, what a crazy meal. Zoo was also amazing. Despite criticism, I appreciate seeing wild sea creatures.
We need to go back to home, to Bucharest. My annual leave isn’t over just yet, I will have a good time with on and have nice sex on my own bed, hopefully. Right now we are leaving hotel and going to Targoviste Mall for unhealthy food and to catch our train. Pictures of will stay with us forever. Bram Stoker’s Dracula is also finished - the best thing to do after slow sex is to sit with glass of coke and read a classic horror book.

perperikon,

Romania is the only country when clerk clearly asks you whether you want frappe with coffee or without, you tell him that of course you want the coffee in café and then makes you frappe without coffee, what a moron; the first time and the last in

perperikon,

The guy from stand sold me good americano for 1,5€ and those f ers from top café couldn’t prepare me coffee for 10€, what to say more.
Anyway, we’re leaving Targoviste and heading back to Bucharest. We will get a trip tomorrow near a lake, play some and rest. At Wednesday I need to go back to the office and fix some solar inverters

perperikon,

At home, last day of annual leave. Bucharest is disgusting as always, but at least I could play because of the trip I am very late at release of this game

perperikon,

is a good game. Not the best, just good enough. Don’t get me wrong, the game is easy but when you play Dark Souls and Elden Ring, a lot of games are easy enough to be boring. Anyway, the game is like new - good looking, open world is done great, spaceships are interesting, there are a lot of caves and shitholes to explore, so yeah, it is a perfect game after weekend dinner, when you want to relax a bit with an easy game and some beverage. I am waiting for release, so Starfield can be ‘good enough’.
