why is it that WiFi never works for me on planes, neither on my iPhone nor my iPad? I must have set network something or other on them … i get redirected from, e.g., connect.klm.com to this page.

These 13 photos are actually one long image scanned from a foot of 35mm film. I shot the images on a LC-A Wide and used the "half-frame advance", so the images would overlap and expose on top of each other. https://docpop.org/2017/05/half-frame-advance-lomo-lc-wide-camera/

Still images that slide across the screen from right to left. They are various shots from the SoMa district in San Francisco. Storefronts, sidewalks, street graffiti, and other things. Each image blends into the next image like a double exposure, which makes the video feel like one long image, rather than 13 shots placed side by side.

Life has slowed since arriving in Nice umm … a week ago. (What day is it?)

Yesterday we did a little shopping at the Uniqlo by Nice Gare that just opened, wandered around our neighborhood, stopped for lunch in the shadow of the Notre Dame Basilica, and picked up some groceries.

yesterday we did nothing. (wrote some postcards, worked on my keynote a little, had dinner at a nearby vietnamese restaurant.)

today we had lunch with friends in beaulieu-sur-mer, a bougie, postage stamp-size town near nice, and dinner at home.

tomorrow we do laundry and pack (next stop: amsterdam) and tomorrow night we have tix for the ogc nice vs. psg soccer match at allianz riviera — very excited!
