Gerade mit dem Zug aus Berlin raus und die Post-Congress Depression treibt mir die Tränen in die Augen.

Wieso kanns nicht immer so sein?
15.000 Wesen und keine Angst haben dass was gestohlen wird oder dass dem Kind was passiert.
15.000 Wesen voll mit Nächstenliebe und voll mit Begeisterung für das was sie und andere schaffen.
15.000 Wesen die einander helfen und versuchen Konflikte durch Kommunikation zu lösen, auch wenns manchmal schwer ist.

Ich will mehr von dieser gelebten Utopie!

Wie oft könnt ihr Romane üblicherweise lesen?

Ich schaffe es fast nie ein Buch mehr als einmal zu lesen einfach weil ich die Geschichte ja schon kenne. Die seltenen Ausnahmen sind Bücher wie "Dune", J.R.R. Tolkien, Terry Pratchett oder Isaac Asimov.

Kann mir irgendeins erklären warum österreichische Anwälte 2023 noch immer auf händischer Unterschrift bestehen, anstatt ausfüllbare & (vollkommen äquivalenten) digital signierbare PDFs zu versenden? Stehen die so sehr auf Papierverschwendung?

2x diese Woche bei unterschiedlichen Fällen und Kanzleien erlebt.

Windows: PREPOSTOROUS!! Never have I heard of such, it is impossible! Madness I say!!

Linux: sure, y'want PNG, JPEG, TIFF or PDF? B/W, Grayscale, Full HD color? Why would I need a driver for something this basic?

Das neue Telefon ist ein bisschen komisch.
Abgesehen davon dass die Schutzfolie dazu führt dass touch manchmal nicht (korrekt) erkannt wird:
wenn ich bei 15% Akkustand schon den Power Saver aktiviert habe, warum werde ich dann bei 14% wieder gefragt?
Und bei 13 auch?
Und bei 12 wieder?
Und so weiter, bis das Handy am Strom hängt?

I need to get a new smartphone since my Pixel 4a ran out of support already. 😞

I narrowed down my options to three devices that fit my requirements.

The Pixel 8a seems to be cheaper and even better compared to the 8.

I won't use games or any of the AI stuff nor Google cloud services. Therefore, I guess that Tensor 4 of the Pixel 9 won't provide much benefit to me.

Unfortunately, the #Pixel 9 design looks great to me. 🤔

What do you recommend? 🤷 (and why?)
