Emotionally wrung out after my counselling session. I was supposed to join an online journaling group at 3pm but I was far too tearful. I’m weepy because the counsellor was NICE and VALIDATING and concerned with my wellbeing and happiness. These things make me come undone

Training is hard today. Sitting with my camera off most of the time but we just had a small group activity. I forced myself to mask and was the one encouraging other people to talk. I probably came across as engaged and chatty haha

Sold 2SCU of salvage, but wanted to go salvage an argo raft, so I needed 2k, so I asked on chat. Someone graciously sent me that, so I got the mission, only for the server to 30k on me. :/

And now...I got 51auec.

Tried to do a box mission, but that server also crapped out and I did not have a delivery marker.

    @scopique Always interesting to read! Always hard agree with you on the forced PVP aspect. And we haven't seen nothing yet because they're about to more than double the size and scope of the current game and all that new stuff is absolutely lawless PVP murderfest land! FFS.

    I heard Starfield got a pretty decent update yesterday to really improve stability and fix quite a few bugs.

    For anyone who has been playing and got the update yesterday, how are things today? Do you notice a difference? If so, is it a big difference?

    I haven't purchased the game yet, but have been thinking about it. Wondering if yesterdays update makes it more worth it.

    @cliffwade It might have felt a tiny bit smoother for me (slightly-aged but beefy PC, with an NVidia 3080Ti) but I had no complaints whatsoever before the patch, so it's hard to know.

    NVidia also patched/hotfixed its drivers a few days ago for Starfield so I'm sure things have improvement for some people. AMD also had some sort of issue with star system lighting that got fixed, I think.

    @cliffwade I've been loving it so far. My one big huge complaint is the inventory management. It feels like I spend more time moving stuff from one inventory to another - and trying to compare stuff that is difficult to compare, all while dealing with an awful interface - than actually "playing" the game.

    @cliffwade No mods for me, not yet at least, but I'm very tempted! Trouble with mods (and "console commands" which can also give you unlimited inventory space) is that they disable the achievements!
    However... Would you believe there's a mod for that, too? LOL. So yeah, a mod that leats you earn achievements while using mods, LOL.
    But I figure I want to at least do a clean playthrough before messing with mods. We'll see!

    @scopique I'm 100% with you on this. Really glad to see you addressing the PVP-focus issue... such a dumb thing to do. Plus it's music to so many toxic people's ears!

    I don't think it's disingenuous to complain about it, either; heck, this all started with a single-player game (with some co-op too?), and from day 1 we were promised a "PVP slider" setting we could use to dial down (or up) the amount of PVP we wanted in our game.
