@davepagurek That's a very similar interface to the one I proposed for Processing's PGraphics (to no response). https://github.com/processing/processing4/issues/726

If definitely keeps your code simpler if drawing functions don't have to think about whether they are drawing to the default canvas or to a framebuffer.

@ewhac From a quick search it appears that there are a variety of effects called "plasma". If you implement it by summing a bunch of differently oriented sine waves, then it would be the same thing.

Gloop

Looping animation of a twisty multi-colored tube wrapped around a tumbling sphere. The tube pops out to a larger sphere and then slowly sinks back down.

@voltagex Scroll back a few months in my feed and you'll find similar 3D loops.

They are made with a particle simulation that distributes the points in a twisty loop on a sphere coded in Processing. The animation and rendering are done using vertex and fragment shaders. It's rendered as 120,000 spheres.

mfs be like "there's no axis to rotate around in 2D 🤯" as if you can't just rotate around a 2D point like what is up with that do you really need your axis to have length? weak

@Tumby @acegikmo N choose 2 is just defining the primary axis planes. Above 2D, you can rotate within any of the infinitely many planes defined by any pair of non-colinear N-dimensional vectors.

But, yes, the key point is that rotation happens in a plane.
