Here’s an idea for those wanting to avoid google’s AI search results: use DuckDuckGo - which provides better results anyway in my experience. It can also be set as the default search engine on most browsers.

I had to look at a Twitter message for work reasons yesterday. I did it in a private tab. I still felt like I needed to wash afterwards. However it struck me that I don't think I've actually read anything off of Twitter for over a year and a half at this point. For me, the has largely replaced it.

I really do not understand what is going on with . It seems like he brought this on himself by reneging on green pledges and thereby sabotaging the coalition with the Green Party? I have to say I really appreciated the Seattle Convention Center "Summit" building where the Open Source Summit was held last week. It's a really beautiful, airy space with tons of natural light.

Giving my talk later this morning on Wide Review in #Standards, heavily leaning in on #Ethics and #HumanRights. Then it's back home, finally, after 2 weeks on the road. https://sched.co/1aBPU #ossna #OpenSourceSummit

Visited the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum today. Profoundly affected by what I’ve seen - especially the focus on the impact on people’s lives.

View of the green grounds of the museum including the children’s memorial with the dome in the background.

Finally saw . Much better than expected - especially Iman Vellani's performance as Ms. Marvel / Kamala Khan, which basically carried the film. Very flimsy plot, even for a Marvel movie. But cats! 🐱
