Hoy le ha tocado el turno a #LosTiposMalos (#TheBadGuys en inglés), peli de #animación de #Dreamworks del 2022 que en su momento no tuvo mucho bombo pero me quedé con ganas de ver. La animación y el estilo visual es genial. El diseño de personajes es bastante bueno, aunque nada rompedor. Y la historia, sin ser nada innovadora, es lo suficientemente entretenida y con varios giros de guion para disfrutarla. Os la recomiendo, para que veáis que existe buena animación más allá de Disney y Pixar.

I too had my own #XMPP server back in the day and federated with #Google and their #GoogleTalk and saw first hand when they unilaterally broke the federation and all my friends stayed there. I ended up so burnt out that I didn't host or manage a server again until this year with #Mastodon.

No soy especialmente fan de los #metroidvania pero después de probar la demo del nuevo #PrinceOfPersia #TheLostCrown me ha sorprendido gratamente. Visualmente muy bonito y mecánicamente se siente bien. Las muertes no resultan tan frustrantes y las habilidades son interesantes. Y la mitología persa para mí es bastante desconocida y la presentan con bastante interés.
Definitivamente lo tendré en cuenta para añadirlo a la lista 😊. Tenéis la demo en todas las plataformas actuales.

So I joined Bluesky (@thedextriarchy if you happen to be there) and the extremely-like-Twitter-ness of it has some appeal! But it feels too strongly mobile-first for me so far. It might be the right call for the platform itself, I just use microblogs almost entirely on desktop and the experience there is pretty bare-bones right now.
