RFC 9432: DNS Catalog Zones

L'idée de base de ces « zones catalogue » est d'automatiser la configuration d'une nouvelle zone sur les serveurs secondaires, en publiant dans le DNS les caractéristiques des zones qu'ils devront servir. Cela concerne donc surtout les gros hébergeurs qui ont beaucoup de zones.

@bortzmeyer On l'utilise avec un bind9 de bookworm pour un projet à venir (qui a notamment une API pour gérer des zones DNS) et ça marche très bien, c'est super chouette comme feature \o/

Sooo generating a DNSKEY with a vanity key tag when using RSA keys (of 2048 bits length) might not be a good idea 🤔

Very slow, very CPU intensive: tempeature goes way too high

Need to ratelimit key generation or make the program sleep every N tries 🤔

No problem of course with elliptic curve: generation is quite fast so it takes way less time to find a good key

@shaft Is it okay, nowadays, to use only EC keys for dnssec?
some years ago, it was frowned upon, so I stuck to RSA-only as of now :/

On va continuer à avoir un gros tas de voiture, on va augmenter les cadences de production d'avion, on ne mettra pas de bon petits plats low carbon à la carte mais du steaaaak , on isolera pas le parc immobilier froncé mais tout va bien, puisqu'on adresse les problèmes de pollution du numérique ! 🤓

Quelles sont vos alternatives à Google Drive pour des étudiants utilisateurs de LibreOffice qui doivent collaborer pour rédiger un rapport ? Les étudiants ne sont pas des geeks, pas de self-hosting.

UPDATE : Merci, plus besoin de réponse. J’ai Framapad, Cryptpad et OnlyOffice (du plus léger au plus complet)

  • ça fait "comme drive" des dossiers personnels ou partageables
  • ça fait "comme google docs" des documents riches éditables en ligne directement, à plusieurs si besoin

Ca y est j'ai fait la fresque du climat, ma boîte propose enfin cette initiative, j'étais curieux et j'ai sauté sur l'occasion. Bilan mitigé : il y a du bon et du moins bon.

Le bon : l'exercice est très pédagogique, ludique, l'aspect collaboratif est bienvenu. C'est très malin : on fait appel à l'intelligence des uns et des autres pour établir les chaines de causalité, chaque personne avec sa carte se retrouve avec le role d'un scientifique qui a une pièce du puzzle et qui collabore avec d'autres pour dresser le tableau général.

Moi : Ouvre une page web dans un navigateur sur le Raspberry.
Le Raspberry : Meurt. Même l'accès ssh ne répond plus.

Tentez pas ça chez vous, les gens, c'est dangereux le web.
Faudra attendre jeudi soir que je revienne chez moi pour un hardreset. 🫤
T'ain le web de 2024 c'est quand même achement pourri.

EDIT: J'aurais dû y penser : On me signale que je pourrais activer le watchdog pour éviter ce genre de situation.

Et sinon je pense que le minimum à attendre, c’est que les harceleurs soient bannis de ce réseau : ceux-ci sont connus, ça dure depuis des mois, si on ne veut pas que Mastodon devienne comme X, il faut poser des actes. Je rappelle que j’ai fait une pub de dingue à Mastodon dans L’Obs en disant qu’ici on était protégés ! ;-) Ce serait bien que ce soit vraiment le cas.

  • mastodon est distribué, chaque instance choisit donc sa modération
  • donc mastodon.social n'est pas piaille.fr par exemple ;)
  • et "bannis" n'a donc pas de sens, même si on peut considérer comme "bannis" s'ils le sont de suffisamment d'instances FR.

    It's written on php-cli and requires an access to the pgsql database AND an account with admin:read and admin:write scope privilegees;

    A trick used by me today to quickly found the few remaining spammers:

    in the PGSQL DB :

    select id,username,domain,display_name,avatar_file_name from accounts where username ~ '^[0-9a-z]{10}$' AND username=display_name and created_at > '2024-02-15 00:00:00' and suspended_at IS NULL AND avatar_file_name IS NULL limit 100;

    Then from the obtained file :
