@Dani an excellent question! Know anyone locally who has been through it, who might know some surgeons? Google? Ask your local GP for some advice? Local LGBT centre? Definitely something that needs researching.

I’ve been having traction issues with the six year old budget tires on the fit. I couldn’t tell if it’s because I’m a shitty driver. Today I drove it in the rain and I couldn’t drive it op a steep hip without the TCS lighting up the dash. I’ve never experienced anything like it. Hopefully I can get it to the shop without dealing with winter precipitation. I was worried stopping at a light on a steep hill I wouldn’t be able to move forward.

@Mark one thing you never go budget on is tyres. They're there as the first and best line of defense in an emergency. Get good ones, get excellent ones. Do it right now. Go look on tirerack and find the best. It's for your safety as well as handling.

We all know some stereotypes about who drives what kinda car. Mid-life crisis men buy ‘Vettes. Mall crawlers buy G Classes (obligatory “fuck the G Class”).

Love seeing someone totally break the stereotype for their car. Last week I saw an older woman driving a WRX. Her plate was something like “GRANSWRX.” Yesterday I was waved at by a middle-aged woman in an NC Miata. A few years ago I saw an older man driving an Integra Type R.

Did you know that the 1990s Honda Civic Del Sol (aka CR-X Del Sol) had an option for a “Transtop” in some markets, which was a motorized pocket built into its trunk into which you can stow the roof? It’s an incredibly complicated arrangement; no wonder the idea never caught on.

It's a job for a large utility provider, not some tiny little religious organisation.
