@futurebird I always thought it was interesting that bees get to choose when to make a queen. As in, the eusocial nest allows them to be selective and judgemental in response to environmental conditions. Things are good? Time to make a new queen and swarm! @mycotropic I can really speak only for where I received treatment, but datasets might be limited due to reporting bias. Even after 4 visits to the ER in 4 days, and a follow up at my local VA, not one of the reports contains a CHS diagnosis. Even after having a doctor come in and tell me to stop using cannabis. And direct reporting to my doctor that I had CHS still didn't result in that diagnosis getting an entry in my medical file.

@danyork@Techmeme My thing is do people realize that Microsoft beat Meta to the punch by buying Minecraft? I talk to a group of guys every night about all kinds of stuff on Discord, we play music - and play Minecraft on a private server. We build worlds, we hang out, we do all the stuff Meta wishes it was doing, and there's no ads (except Discord is starting to run the "you need premium for that feature" game.) Gaming is way ahead on the whole metaverse thing.
