My favorite amino-acid is L-theanine. It's kinda hard to pick one particular fungi to stand for.

wojtek, to iOS

Oh what joy. Seems like #Mail.app on #iOS no longer allows sending uncompressed 2.2 MB JPEGs.
My #SMTP server advertises 250-SIZE 157286400 (accepts messages up to 150 MB) and base64-encoded 2.2 MB binary would weigh roughly ~2.86 MB.

What non-3rd party options are there to transfer pics from #iPhone to #FreeBSD laptop nowadays?

wojtek, to ipv6

My accountant's software decided to treat an IP address found in PDF invoice item as financial data. It took 3 initial octets and summed up a 147€ invoice as 65,108.42€.

Going forward, that's my new go-to argument for IPv6 adoption!

Motherfucker I lost an orange site slot to another fucking post about Garry Tan liking Tupac too much?

wojtek,

@tqbf Quoting threatful song lyrics is one thing. Directing such quote at specific people is a different ball game.
How do you find it sensible to be Tan's apologist on this? Feels like QAnon's post-capitol attack "bro it was just a prank" downplay style, but in this case Tan has actually already apologized: https://twitter.com/garrytan/status/1751386203453342076

I am excited to report that our Mastodon account has hit 14k followers - we are amazed and humbled by this. We could not do this without you and your support. ❤️

wojtek,

@frameworkcomputer Hate to be this guy, but you should consider putting more effort into increasing the availability of your products, than on unsocial media following and fanbase growth.
I can't order any of your products to Poland, nor to Sweden. Haven't actually seen any with my own eyes. But I can buy Lenovo or Apple products locally and am fine with Apple servicing taking place in Germany and the time it takes.
Availability is imo the area where you should put more focus on.

Finally putting my x230 to rest, the last sudo poweroff. Hardware is failing beyond the point that makes continuing to repair it worthwhile.

On this laptop I deployed nearly 60 servers (most for at risk groups), 12 tech art projects (solo & collab, some toured worldwide), & gave many lectures & workshops.

If there was ever a loyal and electric steed, it was this x230. It ran #Debian & was good.

I bought it in 2015, for EUR145 on the German eBay, 2nd hand.

wojtek,

@JulianOliver Still better than Lenovo's ThinkPads. As a T14s (AMD Gen1) owner - I'd be upgrading IBM models for as long as possible.
...which reminds me: gotta check hardware support for FrameWork, Dell and few other vendors' AMD-based laptops.
