OC Do you use a desktop, phone, or both?
I am curious how many people do not use desktops in this day and age. I do not. I use my phone for everything (online) tech related in my life.
Is this common?

OrganicMeatbag, Laptop for school, work, games. Tablet for movies, reading, browsing internet. Phone for communication, portable internet browsing and reading.
artisanrox, Desktop/phone. Desktop is better at image editing stuff, which I do a lot.
Phone is better cuddling with my cattos.
Somewhereunknown7351, (edited ) Allinone/tablet All in one for playing games, tablet for drawing and forum-ing
But i will get a phone (eventually)
Edit: an all in one is basically a desktop without the tower
Edit2: and school

InvaderDJ, For work obviously, I’m PC (a laptop) for essentially all of it. Although recently, I got the ability to use an iPad and I do use it for when I’m working out so I can step away from the desktop while keeping an eye on things.
In my personal use, I’m primarily phone and tablet. My gaming has switched mostly to console since GPU prices have gotten stupid and don’t appear to be getting much lower than they are right now. So I don’t bother except for games where I really need mods or a mouse. And I haven’t had that since like Doom Eternal.
daredevil, I could not imagine life without a desktop tbh.
NaoPb, I still use desktops. A lot.
amio, Desktop for most things, laptop for travel, phone for the rest. Considering getting myself a cheapo tablet for easier reading, the phone isn't really ideal for that.
Zoop, Situations like yours are definitely more common than this thread makes it seem! Most of my friends (and their families) don’t even have actual computers like desktops or laptops and just use their phones for everything.
I’m pretty much in the same boat. I technically have an old, broken-screened computer (my cat sat on the screen lol,) but since it’s broken and barely usable, I don’t use it unless I absolutely need a computer for some reason, which is increasingly rare. There’s no way in hell I can afford anything else, since I’m disabled and can’t work to make money to buy things. Otherwise I’d use a computer more.
Nemo, Both. There are things I do on a phone and things I do on my desktop; there are no things I do on both.
Kolanaki, I use my desktop to play games. I don’t even really browse the web on it anymore.
ThatOneKirbyMain2568, Both. I end up swapping between them a ton throughout the day.
hoodlem, Phone. I would like to get a dumb phone and switch to using my laptop to limit screen time.
stopthatgirl7, I use my phone for everything but things like watching YouTube, and I use my iPad for that. I also mostly use my iPad for work, except for when I have to use my laptop because Google managed to make Classroom a complete mess on iPad. I have a desktop, but it’s purely for gaming, so much so it’s not hooked up to a monitor, but my tv.
Prej, 95% desktop. I use my phone only for calls and banking.
spider, Same here – the latter with a flip phone.
apemint, Ditto. Except I use an old Nokia from 2007.
