Anything I put on here, I know kbin.social will be sending out to thousands of other instances, and what those instances do with my content and how it's displayed is completely out of my control. That's just the nature of ActivityPub, and by posting here I think I have to be okay with that. There are already ActivityPub services that run ads, so it's not unique to Threads either.
