We've fined Apple over €1.8 billion over abusive App Store rules for music streaming providers.
For a decade, Apple abused its dominant position by restricting developers from informing consumers about alternative, cheaper music services available outside of the Apple ecosystem.
Pretty pathetic really, and completely ineffective.
How much has Apple made from it's monopoly App Store since 2019 when this review began? And no doubt they will appeal, extending the period of the practices several more years.
Fining wealthy corporations and people is no use. It's a fig leaf to cover impotence or complicity.
@EU_Commission How about fining Apple for not beeing able to sideload Apps? Their so called Argument "Apple needs to trust thirdparty stores" is just complete bullshit
