Had a good D&D session this morning. My players continue to stealth thru an abandoned gryphon tower. The Ratatosk Druid decided to break stealth and try to befriend a corrupted ogre chieftan, and while I can respect the hustle... it ended with two big attacks.
Then the barbarian tried to chuck her (ogre) off the edge of the tower. No joy, so now the wizard has her hanging off the edge, and there's a whole round of player turns before it's the chieftan's turn again.
They did manage to find some documents in the sekrit scrying room which I hope will springboard us into the next adventure, and referenced an earlier adventure in the campaign too. So that was fun.
I'm really starting to get more of a feel for DMing. Still have so far to go vs my inspirations, Her Highness Aabria Iyengar, and His Grace Brennan Lee Mulligan. But, my players do seem to be having fun and that matters!
