@Rivikah@marytzu@futurebird@notsoloud@thepoliticalcat My assumption is that a customizable shoe of the kind I was thinking of (basically a sneaker) would probably have a 3d printed lower base, and have the various fabric parts cut by an automated system, with final assembly done by a human. I think this is how sneakers are currently made, except that the parts are stamped or molded in a collection of set sizes.
