Whoops I hosed my Windows install trying to convert it from Legacy to UEFI

@AngryAnt The reason I hosed my Windows partition is because I had bought a new m.2 drive to install Linux on, but my computer wouldn't boot with that in unless I converted my legacy windows partition to UEFI.

Linux Mint seems nice, and I think I'll be fairly happy with it once I have hibernate working for it.

I do want to get my Windows partition working again, though. Preferably without reinstalling.

It's certainly not the only reason, but a significant reason why so many people buy into these insane conspiracy theories about the bridge collapse is that schools for a generation have been spending most of their time teaching GARBAGE instead of actual math, science, and basic engineering principles. And by and large, home schooling is even worse. Generations of children growing up to be makeup influencers and reaction video creators.

Does anyone know of any GPU benchmarks that have data for both Apple silicon and Nvidia/AMD/Intel GPUs? The only one I found was the geekbench OpenCL one, which isn't quite what I'm looking for.

I kind of get fed up of people on Mastodon snarking on Bluesky and people on Bluesky snarking on Mastodon because I enjoy them both.

If anyone out there knows how to fix this, I will be forever indebted to them.

Someone at work added me to a Google doc with my work email address and now, multiple times a day, my phone alerts me that I need to sign into access the document, but then I am unable to sign in and the process repeats itself.

I have logged into the document on my computer, but my phone refuses to stop bothering me.

@MLE_online I don't know how specific this is to the version of Android on my phone, but I find it I hold my finger down on a notification it gives me options to make that type of notification silent, or even disabled. It has a settings icon to dig in further, which normally allows you to control what kind of notifications you can get from that app.

My 9yo son asked me what it was like when the internet started coming about.
I told him how each website was a different phone number, and each could only handle a couple different users at a time, so they'd get mad and ban you if you were on it for too long at one time.
