I did warn y'all :) In an hur, Mortal Kombat 1 should unlock for the poor souls who didn't order the superduper premium ultra edition version, and I, a regular schmo with no particular talent for these kinds of #games, will go ahead and stream my adventures stumbling around in it. #accessibility appears to have been given some extra thought on this one, as people like @superblindman were consulted during development to get the #blind angle, as well as general accessibility considerations to be taken for this type of game. @zersiax@superblindman I read a thread about it earlier that reminded me that it's not about standing there and mashing x or whatever, hoping for the best. I'd be utterly crap it as well.
@KaraLG84@superblindman I actually do like how the various audio cues make it easier to not do that. That, in combination with the tutorials, can I think teach you a lot about how to properly play these games. MK is pretty forgiving about button mashing through the story at least, its really just in online matches where that starts just falling over outright
@KaraLG84 yeah ... I'm lucky in having a PC that can run it so if I really hated it I could get a refund pretty quick. You could go look at my stream from yesterday if that helps, I can get you a direct video link so you don't have to deal with Twitch's interface too much, I recall some folks running into issues with that :)
@faylen huh. Yeah ...it can be a bit of a process to get your account made and verified ...on the other hand it kinda has to be to make sure trolls and such have a bit of a tougher time
@zersiax Yeah, I get it. It just didn't recognize my username, but wouldn't let me create an account with my email address. I was just listening while working so couldn't be bothered to fiddle with it too much.
@faylen can always do the trick where you do myemailadress+randomwordhere at gmail dot com, if you want to make a new account, that will probably work?
