The commander of Iran’s revolutionary guard, Gen. Hossein Salami, said Hamas’ war against Israel and attacks by Iranian allies elsewhere in the region are damaging Israel politically and militarily.
Israel “is alive only with American artificial respiration,” Salami said. Without U.S. support, Israel will fall into “a vegetative state and collapse,” he said. “This is near.”
