I love how #Israel and the #UnitedStates are trying to position themselves as the victim of aggression from #Iran, hoping that we will all ignore that Israel committed an act of war when it intentionally bombed Iran's embassy. Apparently Israel is the only country in the world who has a right to defend itself.
@xs4me2 Israel launched the bomb into Syria to blow up the Persian consulate, seemingly out of sweet, ice-cold fuckswhere.
Iran until now had nothing (at least that it was willing to admit to) but sabre-rattling for Israel.
Now they’d be perfectly justified in directly defending themselves.
I don’t disagree with you that the current régime in Iran needs to be overthrown, but now’s not the time to be making that point, when they are actually the victim.
@lightning The iranian republican guard is waging a proxy war in syria, lebanon, Palestine… etc… for years now, these murderous thugs should be stopped and I consider this a great way to do it…. Israel waged several wars against those that attacked them and always won.
And btw Palestine should be a free state, also free from Hamas! And Netanyahu and his rightwing allies should be jailed. For corruption and genocide.
@xs4me2 Um ok. I don't necessarily disagree with that. But I'm wondering, how do you feel about the murderous thugs in the US government or the Israeli government? I'm all for overthrowing murderous regimes. Let's overthrow them all.
