Great throw by Rutschman to nail J-Rod at second, but the runner would’ve been out anyway because of batter’s interference. Still, the throw was more impressive when the batter had to duck to keep from being drilled in the ear. #Orioles#MLB#baseball@baseball
I'd been worried about a team sale & move, but if this is accurate and it's going to Rubenstein & Ripken, Jr - I think it's safe to say they'll stay in Charm City. ⚾ 🦀 ⚾
@funnelfiasco I was at the game last year where the Jays were up by 8 and lost. I watched them score 1 run in two games this year. Now the front office is tossing the manager under the bus because they forced a cute strategy on the manager. I have no sympathy for your favourite team losing. Try again next year and enjoy a great season they had this year.
August 13, 1969 (54 years ago today, #OTD): #Orioles pitcher Jim Palmer threw a no-hitter against the Oakland Athletics at Memorial Stadium in #Baltimore, in front of a recorded attendance of 16,826. At that point, the Orioles were in 1st in the American League East, with a 14.5 game lead over the 2nd-place Detroit Tigers. Palmer threw 142 pitches: 123 fastballs, 18 curveballs, 1 changeup.

@funnelfiasco I read the report of what happened and cannot believe how thin-skinned ownership is. For years Jays’ broadcasters talked about how poorly they had played in Tampa.
Our first F Troop pants sighting is for the #Orioles. They’re more subtle than the others because the stripe down the side of the black pants is also black, but it’s there. (I like the color on the sleeves, though.)
