For a long while, platforms have been making tons of usually pointless, often harmful changes to their UI. Reddit & Discord provide tons of examples....
I made my home here permanently now. It seems like such a friendlier place but how are you all doing?
They took my subreddit away and installed some sock puppet who restored everything that I wrote, which I deleted. Do I have any recourse, or do they just get to use my writing?
It has been a hard journey my boys, but I am finally here! :)
Tried using some links from google and they all failed. Did they actually do it?

For new readers of the magazine, shell4kbin is an Android app that creates a dedicated browser for the kbin.social site....
Over a month ago, I took my data out of Reddit before running “Shreddit” to OVERWRITE my comments with gibberish before deleting them....
I use NetNewsWire on my iPad and Feeder on my Android phone to read RSS feeds from multiple sites (including Lemmy and Kbin). I also use it to monitor niche sub-reddits so I can give Reddit as little traffic as possible....
