@glynmoody Not the first time that TV producers have tried to force ads upon people. Though the author of this article (https://www.techradar.com/news/sony-patent-would-have-you-yell-at-your-tv-to-skip-commercials) concludes that no, Sony’s patent won’t show an endless stream of ads, personally the thought of developing fucking ableist QTEs for ads - which necessitates greater surveillance - is almost worse.
