@GottaLaff There are so many actual real problems in the world. This is just theater designed to distract the rubes. Utah is freaking beautiful and I have met some very nice people there. However there is also a predisposition toward magical thinking because religion.

Besides this being abusive bullshittery, I am also just astounded by the amount of effort and time they spend on this when Utah faces real problems that are going to fuck them up something awful, and they aren't doing even the least to prevent or mitigate.
Utah's temperatures have risen at about twice the global average, the great salt lake is drying and releasing arsenic and PM2.5s, and the state's water supply is dwindling fast.
They really can't afford to be spending time on BS
