Meanwhile the amount of CO2 we spew into the atmosphere is skyrocketing, accelerating terrifyingly (see the last bar on this chart—2023). And the carbon tax is such a modest, modest effort to reverse this cataclysmic trend.

I recently decided to start working with plain text (as in .txt) files for a few things, such as podcast notes. I'm not in the #OBTF camp (hat tip @mikegrindle) but I do find the plain, no-format text useful for notes. Now just trying to figure out the best app for my iPad for on-the-go editing and viewing.

Dominion wind project gets final 2 permits

"The facility, 25 miles in the Atlantic off the Oceanfront, will have 176 turbines capable of generating enough electricity to power up to 660,000 homes.
