@GottaLaff Did he at least confiscate the note and read it out loud in front of the whole class? ( flashback to catholic grade school 3rd grade and mother superior found a love note I wrote). She was going to read it in the lunchroom. I begged and begged and begged her not to. I have not forgotten how humiliating that was.

Last night our real estate agent (also a friend, lives across the street) gave me THE most delicious mini-cake for Mother's Day.

@GottaLaff When I get cake cravings, I head to the local grocery store. Usually, they have individual slices of various cakes for sale. If I want to feel virtuous, I walk there and back. It's about 40 minutes, so I can burn a few calories.

It insane to me how often women are not given pain management for gynecological procedures, because many many years ago a male doctor who's never had a vagina, cervix, or uterus decided that there weren't enough nerve endings up there to hurt significantly. I think it's time to put this fallacy to bed. It most definitely does hurt, and people who have literally no experience with female equipment don't get to decide this for me. Trust me docs, you don't want to taste your own medicine on this.
