All of the disability professionals worked with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (most also worked with other disability populations). The majority of participants did not have disabilities (68.9%), were women (81.6%), were White (90.4%), had Bachelor's or Graduate degrees (77.9%), had family members (59.1%) and/or friends (73.3%) with dis-abilities, and were from the United States (87.3%; Table 1). The average age of participants was 48.6 years old. The most common professions among the participants were: quality management (23.1%); support staff (20.8%); and disability rights advocate (19.4%). The most common disability work setting was residential (65.7%), followed by employment/day settings (34.7%). On average, participants worked in the disability field for 21.2 years.
