okay, want a simple way to convert 32 bit float recordings to something easier to post on socials where the good quality isn't super important so something like 128 k mp3 or something. I know I can use daw tools but I din't know any of them well. just want a simple way to do this.

so QE sent me automated accessibility testing results from a property of 274 pages. they did this by integrating the DQ tools into our automation suite. They want me to comment on its effectiveness with automation. All screen shots. Surely, the DQ tool can export to a consumable format other than screen shots. I guess I will have to figure it out.

can tell black thing is starting to get older. we just did a 12 hour work day with lots of travel and he is just wiped and sleeping like he is dead. someone came to the door and he didn't even move. also, at the end, he was getting kind of sloppy. He's still good but these 12 hour days do him in.

The guy with the aggressive dog has been trespassed from my building. Staff saw him leave with his dog. Got a call from the animal control officer who will be taking the case. She asked if I wanted a verbal warning or to press charges. I said charges because the guy is irresponsible and won't listen to verbal warnings. She said she doesn't think she'll even be able to make it so the dog has to be muzzled. She's supposed to come talk to me tomorrow, and get statements from staff who witnessed it.

Dash Pass is free in Canada if you have Amazon Prime. I was vaguely tossing around the idea of canceling both, but I guess I'll keep one subscription and let it pay for both services. Since my yearly pass renewed in February, I also got an unexpected $72 refund when I signed up. I guess this has been a thing for a while; I remember people talking about it last year but I couldn't figure out how to sign up then. It was very easy. And yes, unfortunately this is only available in Canada--or at least I can't find reference to US Amazon or any other marketplace being eligible. I have my computer hooked up to a bluetooth speaker, but the first bit of sound keeps getting cut off whenever NVDA speaks. I know there was a program that has not been updated for a while called Bluetoothaudio. Since it hasn't been updated though is there another program that will keep the cutoff from happening? Is there a program that works with JAWS? I already know about silencio but it keeps breaking my sound drivers for some strange reason. Any other ideas? Anyone?

so people in the house are reporting issues with the wifi in places, I'd like to get extenders to fix this, to extend the network, but I don't want to have to create an entirely knew network, I'd just like to be able to connect them and extend the existing wifi as provided, sadly, by the ATT modem. I can put an extender upstairs, as I do have a switch I can ethernet an extender into. Thoughts?

LOL. I just got an email from Dominos tell me not to let my points go to waste. I have those? I wouldn't have guessed. And yes, I'll be letting them go to waste, LOL. Dominos hasn't been good in at least twenty plus years. The local ma-and-pa shops around here are at least a thousand times better.

seriously, the Audeze Maxwell has the best user guide I've ever seen for accessibility. No images, useful heading layouts, and it even says things like: the Microphone port is here and the aux port is there, and if the switch is up, the microphone is active whereas if its down the microphone is muted. Voice guidance on the unit even tells you what EQ profile you've chosen. Accessibility is absolutely mindblowing.

To my blind Followers, is there an NVDA 24.1 compatible Nuance Vocalizer for NVDA Addon? If not, what can you recommend that does not have AI in it? I can't find anything besides the Codefactory ones I don't own and refuse to buy because of their Licenses

OMG I found the setting where I could triple the size of the lil arrow thingy on my laptop and HOO BOY I did not realize this was the stress relieving hack I needed so badly. I've wasted SO many brain spoons trying to find the lil thing. This is awesome!
