@Konghammer It always helps when they're going to a home that's a better fit for them than I can give them. I had a foster named Loki who took forever to get adopted, and people were surprised I wasn't going to keep him, but he needed to be the king of someone's home, not one of several.

@trixter Oh, I have felt that pain. Fostered 2 about a year ago. Both were adopted after I had them for a few months. It's hard to let them go.

@timgatewood Half of this litter got adopted pretty young, but Butter and his brother Rocky Road have been with me almost 8 months now, along with a slightly younger singleton I call Madelyne who was raised with them. I'm glad to see him go to a big family with lots of laps to snuggle up on, but it's rough.
