The best compound word I can come up with is “Uppfinnarmissöde” Uppfinnar - Inventor missöde - misadventure or mishap So “uppfinnarmissöde” would translate to either “inventor mishap” or “inventor misadventure”, I prefer the latter as it kinda rhymes when you say it.
