There are very few authentic Ramen shops in boston. One in brookline and one in porter square. The rest are basically asian fusion or chain noodle shops.
We simply don't have a big enough Japanese population here to really have much in the way of authentic Japanese foods like Ramen.
This was dealt with by state law years ago, but of course the police still extort cities and towns for their precious overtime of sitting around and doing nothing. All the while screaming about 'hand outs'.
