@ssamulczyk Since 2020 I challenge myself for a Midwinter Solstice Ride, starting at 4:15pm and finishing at 9:30am the next morning.
Always around 300 kilometers, and self supported (except first year, had pasta by @petervalkema ). So I bring a stove for a warm meal and extra water.
Last year it was -7 C with freezing fog.

Currently planning my next adventure for 22/23 December.

@herbert_tiemens Dude, that sounds crazy to me!😁 But I wish I had time for such a weird stuff… One day, when the kids are old enough…🙈 @petervalkema

@ssamulczyk Sure, they grow up! I got the idea after a Midsummer Solstice Ride with my daughter, which was one of the best rides ever. This winter her friend might join me for the second half of the ride, he is as crazy as me.

@herbert_tiemens Well, mine are 7, 5 and 0,5. It will take quite some time for them to grow. Though, both older kids are cycling and they have very nice bicycles, so I won’t stop them if they wished to join me at some point! @petervalkema
