That’s a better idea than leaving it as is. The road is a tourist attraction first and a road second. It is also well served by the LA Metro, so losing vehicular capacity should hopefully push people onto the Red Line.

Not to mention the road is regularly closed off to street traffic for movie premieres and events. I was hoping they’d go even further and turn this into a pedestrian only area.

I’ve heard the phrase “concern trolling” lots of times before, but a quote against making Hollywood Boulevard more pedestrian friendly, from an organization called KeepLAMoving, is the best example I’ve ever seen.
