If you suddenly encounter this error in today your password has been made invalid for some reason 🤨

You can use the "Forgot your password?" option to fix it.

But it would be nice to know what even triggered it and maybe have a more descriptive error message

Some further observations I don't recall the main site having a ReCaptcha before either and it looks like some GW1 accounts are being forced to use 2FA as well https://reddit.com/r/GuildWars/comments/1bdmsow/2fa_randomly_activated/

So there's probably some security update shenanigans going on in the background
