BreadDog, https://codeberg.org/Kbin/kbin-core/issues/83
Popped an issue in the issue tracker for it. I think it should be default to be hidden, especially with the fact that most people coming from reddit would expect the same.
brilokuloj, I definitely think it should be hidden by default. I wouldn't have even guessed these were public and I think most others wouldn't either. It looks like somebody is already working on it, at least (and the raw code does confirm they're visible by default)
GauthierPLM, I opened a PR to change the default setting when new users register: https://codeberg.org/Kbin/kbin-core/pulls/112
Existing users will have to change their settings if they want to hide their subscriptions (go in the privacy part of your general settings: https://kbin.social/settings/general).
Alue42, I don't think it does by default. In settings there's an option to show your subscriptions and followings under "Privacy" and mine are unchecked, but I didn't do anything to them, they were like that when I found them.
oakke1, Mine were checked and I definitely didn't touch them.
fireshaper, Mine were also checked
brilokuloj, Mine were also checked. I hadn't even found the page yet until I discovered they were on.
woooferine, Same here. Thanks OP for pointing this out.
