Honestly maths gets easier with letters because there is a lot less maths in it, at least in the traditional sense. Lot harder to make a numerical mistake.
I didn’t do “*” cause I’m on a phone and I didn’t want to mess with accidentally italicizing my whole sentence. Everything else but “x” is a special character that I can’t get to in a short time.
You can do * to prevent it from italicizing stuff. Also, if you’re using Android, there’s an app called Unexpected Keyboard that makes every reasonably-useful key reachable in a few taps.
