It’s a bit hard to describe but I felt like both had moments of spiraling confusion with the protagonist watching their worlds fall apart around them that I found really captivating....
Originally released as Wes Craven's New Nightmare in 1994, this movie was sort of a warmup in meta horror before Craven directed Scream two years later. It's arguably the best of the seven A Nightmare on Elm Street sequels and assumes a more serious, darker tone. If you're looking for that cheese established in the sequels...

Slow burn western set in the Edwardian Era (1906), best if you avoid the imdb synopsis and any potential spoiler sources and go in blind....
I recommend this movie to everyone, I think it really talks about what makes us human. Good performances, good score and the sci-fi world of the movie feels too real and not as far as it seems to our reality. It was really underappreciated when it came out, so if you haven’t seen it now is the time to make you a favor!
